Description: The client had just recently purchased this property and handed us the task of tiling over timber floors. As cost was a factor in this project, we recommended the installation of F.C sheeting over the timber and an application of surface primer ready for the new tile install. Tiling over timber floors can also be prepared with covering the floor with plastic, installing a reinforcing mesh and sand-cement screeding.
